Prof. Dr. Pavlina Peneva, MD

Graduated from Varna Medical University in 2001. In 2008, she completed an Erasmus internship at the Clinic of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation in Bari, Italy. Specialist in internal medicine and pneumology and phthisiatry. In 2019 she obtained a scientific degree “Doctor” on the topic: “Prognostic markers for clinical and laboratory evaluation of patients with sepsis”, and from 2022 she has a master's degree in ZMSG, with a diploma thesis “Hospital of the future — attitudes and readiness of medical personnel in Bulgaria to meet the challenges”

• Master's degree in SMMSG, with interest in information technologies oriented to telemedicine, artificial intelligence and IoT technologies in medicine

• author of two monographs, publications in Bulgarian and foreign journals

Prof. Dr. Peneva has been working at the University Hospital “Sveta Marina” Varna in the Clinic of Pneumology and Phthisiatrics, in the department of intensive care and non-invasive ventilation, since 2008. Since 2016 he has held an academic position as an assistant at the University of Varna, and since 2021 he is an associate professor at the First Department of Internal Medicine, specialty Pneumology and Phthisiatry. He participates as a lecturer and lecturer in the preparation of medical students with Bulgarian and English language training. Currently she is part of the team of specialists of MK Mother House Varna and MC Heilan Care 4.
