Dr. Marina Tarasheva
Cardiologist
Dr. Marina Tarasheva is a cardiology resident in Sofia. Her research interests include the prevention and treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders, heart failure, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies. She performs echocardiography and interprets Holter ECG and Holter blood pressure monitoring.
Dr. Tarasheva does not examine children.
Education and qualifications
She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2022. Since 2023, she has been specializing in Cardiology at the National Cardiology Hospital.
Qualifications
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association - Sofia City Regional College, the Bulgarian Society of Cardiology, the Bulgarian Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA);
- 2021 - Scholarship recipient of the Bulgarian Medical Association;
- Participation in congresses and seminars in the field.
Biography
From 2019 to 2022, during her studies, Dr. Tarasheva worked as a healthcare assistant at the Clinic of Cardiac Surgery at the National Cardiology Hospital. She has a keen interest in the interventional treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders. She is currently a resident at the Clinic of Cardiology at the National Cardiology Hospital and part of the team at MC Haelan Care 3.
She is fluent in English.
