Dr. Angelina Borizanova
Dr. Angelina Borizanova is a specialist cardiologist with over 15 years of experience in the field of non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Performs examinations in a specialized cardiology office with one of the most modern echocardiographers with speckle-tracking echocardiography capabilities.
Dr. Borizanova does not examine children.
Education and qualifications
Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine of the Thracian University Stara Zagora in 2007. He acquired his specialty Cardiology in 2015. In 2022, he obtained the educational and scientific degree Doctor of Medicine with a protected dissertation on the topic: “Echocardiographic predictors of atrial fibrillation”.

- Participated as a speaker in a number of national and international congresses;
- More than 30 publications in national and international journals;
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, Society of Cardiologists in Bulgaria, European Society of Cardiology, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.
Biography
Since 2009, Dr. Borizanova is a cardiologist at the Clinic of Cardiology at the University Hospital Tsaritsa Ioanna - ISUL. From 2017 to 2022 he is an assistant professor, and from July 2023 he is a chief assistant at the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia. He is currently part of the specialist teams of MC Haylan Care 1 and MDC Haylan Care 2.

Dr. Borizanova's scientific interests are in the field of cardiometabolic diseases, dyslipidemias, atrial fibrillation, obesity, arterial hypertension, heart failure, etc.
